What's inside

Everything a nursery actually runs on.

Not a to-do list app with children's names in it. Each piece below is built around how a nursery day really works.

01 The daily record

Care logging

Naps, meals, nappies and any type you define yourself - with options, notes and editable times. Open-ended naps stay open until someone ends them.

The day at a glance

Every moment on one rail pinned to the top of the screen. The lit icon is whatever sits at the top of the day, and tapping a moment brings that record up - so a parent reaches the 10:40 photo without scrolling through the morning.

Photos & moments

Upload from the floor, choose exactly which families see them, and photos land inside the day's timeline rather than in a separate gallery nobody opens. Pinch to zoom, swipe through the set.

Attendance

Check-in and check-out per child, with the register and each room's live headcount always agreeing. Staff can correct a time that was logged late.

Works when the wifi doesn't

The garden, the far end of the corridor, the stairs. A care log written with no signal is held on the device and sent the moment there is one, and staff can see which entries are still waiting rather than assuming they saved.

02 Families

Messaging

Real-time threads between a family and their child's teachers. Parents can't message each other - the channel stays professional by design.

Guardians & pickup

Multiple guardians and phone numbers per child, plus pickup contacts. Staff can add a number; changes to an existing one need office approval.

Announcements

Notices to the whole school, one class, or one family - pinned and marked urgent when it matters.

Fees, paid in the app

Families see what's due, what's optional and what's already paid, then pay by card in the app - one item, or everything due at once. The charge goes to the school's own Stripe account, so the school is the merchant and we take no cut of a parent's payment. Staff can start the same payment for a family that would rather not do it on a phone. Switched on per school, so a nursery that collects fees another way simply doesn't.

03 Safeguarding

Photo consent

Recorded per child, separately for sharing with other families and for use in marketing, with 'never asked' kept distinct from 'refused'. Filing a photo against a child who has no consent is refused by the database, not by a checkbox someone can skip. Parents withdraw consent themselves, with no request to approve.

Medication

A dose can only be recorded against medication that is authorised, in date and still active - anything else is refused outright. Authorisation can come from the parent in the app or from a signed paper form typed in at the office, because a nursery forced to choose will simply keep using paper and record nothing.

Incidents & accidents

One report can cover several children, because that is how incidents actually happen. The parent acknowledges it in the app, and that acknowledgement is the school's own record that the family was told.

Sleep checks

Switched on per child, with the interval set once for the school. While a nap is open, staff see the check due on screen and each one is recorded against that sleep. It is a prompt in front of the person in the room, not a background alarm - we would rather say so than imply a safety net that isn't there.

04 Running the school

Invoicing & tuition

Monthly tuition generated per child, extras added as needed, and a clear due/paid picture for every family. Parents pay by card in the app through Stripe, and the item marks itself paid when the money clears - nobody ticks it off by hand.

Staff hours & leave

Shifts, timecards, leave requests and approvals, feeding straight into payroll totals - instead of a spreadsheet somebody rebuilds monthly.

Rooms, ratios & space

Staff-to-child ratios per room, live, with an alert the moment a room goes over - before it becomes an inspection finding. Record each room's floor area in square metres and it is checked the same way: where the rules for your jurisdiction set a space requirement per child, the room is measured against the children actually in it. A room can be correctly staffed and still be too small, so the two verdicts are shown separately rather than as one green tick.

Enrollment & waitlist

Enquiries through to enrolled, with a waitlist you can actually work rather than a notebook by the phone.

Reports

Attendance, occupancy and revenue in a form you can hand to an owner or an inspector.

Four languages

Each parent and staff member picks their own: English, Greek, Russian or French. Nobody is stuck reading a second language about their child.

Give the day back to the people in the room.

Less time writing the day down. More time with the children - and parents who actually see it.
